Lloyd W. McCracken

      RICHLAND - Lloyd W. McCracken, 85, of Richland, died Monday, July 21, 2008, in Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Keota, where he had resided for about two years.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24 in the Trinity Friends Church in Richland with the Rev. Tim Hadley officiating, assisted by the Rev. Carla Nelson and the Rev. Duane Sherman. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Gould Funeral Home in Richland where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Friends Church or Hospice of Keokuk County.

      Mr. McCracken was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Richland, the son of Rufus and Mabel (Lyon) McCracken. He married Pearl Kershaw on Oct. 26, 1953 in Stronghurst, Ill.
