Lloyd W. McCracken

      Lloyd W. McCracken, 85, of Richland, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Keota.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Friends Church in Richland, with the Rev. Tim Hadley officiating, assisted by the Revs. Carla Nelson and Duane Sherman.

      Open visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the family present from 6:30-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Trinity Friends Church or Hospice of Keokuk County may be left at the funeral home or the church or may be mailed to the family at 201 Fifth St. North, Ollie 52576.

      Mr. McCracken was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Richland, the son of Rufus and Mabel Lyon McCracken. He married Pearl Kershaw Oct. 26, 1953, in Stronghurst, Ill. She died Dec. 23, 1997.
