Lloyd W. Miller

      Lloyd W. Miller, age 86, of Washington died Monday October 15, 2007 at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a decline in health.

      Memorial services will be held 10:30 am on Friday October 19, 2007 at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Visitation will begin 12:00 pm Thursday at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday evening. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established to Washington County Relay for Life, United Presbyterian Home, or the United Presbyterian Church in Washington.       Lloyd was born March 9, 1921 in Washington, Iowa to George and Rose (Schroeder) Miller. He graduated from Washington High School in 1938. Lloyd was united in marriage to Dorothy Humston on March 15, 1943 in Edmund, Oklahoma. Lloyd served in the 74th Troop Carrier in the United States Air Force during World War II.
