Lois Catherine Armbruster

RIVERSIDE ? Lois Catherine Armbruster, 89, of Riverside, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at her home following a brief illness.

    Mass of the Resurrection will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating.  Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Following the committal service at the cemetery, there will be a time of refreshments and fellowship at St. Mary?s Parish Center.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, with a 7 p.m. rosary, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside.  A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Muscatine.

    Mrs. Armbruster was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Richmond, the daughter of Wino and Villa (Schmitt) Strabala.  She married Paul Armbruster on Oct. 3, 1945, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond.
