Lois E. Kauffman
KALONA - Lois E. Kauffman, 57, of Kalona, and formerly of Iowa City, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev. Jay Miiller, the Rev. Noah Helmuth and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the Pleasantview Home Alzheimer's Unit Building Fund.
