Lois Edna Magdefrau

Lois Edna Magdefrau, 94, of Morning Sun, died Thursday, April 7, 2005,at Morning Sun Care Center in Morning Sun.

      The funeral service was at 10 a.m. today at Elliott Chapel in New London, with Pastor Sue Tomlinson officiating. Burial was in Eicher Cemetery in Wayland. Memorials may be made to the Yarmouth Fire Department or Eicher Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue and her husband Richard Reiter of Yarmouth; three sons, Roger and his wife Pauline Magdefrau of Henderson, Nev., Allen Magdefrau of Burlington, and Jerry and his wife Carol Magdefrau of Springdale, Ark.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anita Hesseltine of Washington, and Christine Redeker of Agency.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Thomas; a brother, Charles; and a sister, Alice Strohm.
