Lola Glynne White

      Lola Glynne White, 87, of Wahington, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Brownlee Health Care Center in Washington.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Washington County, United Presbyterian Church or Brownlee Health Care Center.

      Mrs. White was born on Aug. 24, 1917, in Lansing, Mich., to William Homer and Carrie Edith (Rowan) Coppock. She graduated from Ainsworth High School and attended Simpson College in Indianola and Roosevelt University in Chicago, Ill. She married Boyd White in Ainsworth on June 5, 1938.
