Loren D. Robertson

      WASHINGTON - Loren D. Robertson, 90, of Washington, died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Washington County Hospital following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 23., at United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Julia Poulsen and the Rev. Everett Burham officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Wellman Cemetery in Wellman at a later date. Memorials have been established for Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund, United Methodist Church, or the Washington Fire Department.

      Mr. Robertson was born Sept. 16, 1914, in Garwin to Robert L. and Myrtle E. (Anderson) Robertson. He married Marcia Lee Wehrle on Jan. 1, 1939, in Kirksville, Mo.
