Loren E. Carver
Loren Eugene Carver, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, May 16, at his home.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday, May 19, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Lambirth Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Great River Hospice and the Henry County Cancer Fund.
He was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Lockridge, the son of Pearl and Dorothy Kirk Carver. On June 29, 1952, he married Delores Snook in Fairfield.
