Loren Glenn Herreid

MOUNT PLEASANT ? Loren Glenn Herreid, 59, of Mount Pleasant, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at his home.

    Visitation began at noon today at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.  According to Mr. Herreid?s wishes, the body has been cremated and there will be no memorial service.  Memorial funds have been established to the Mount Pleasant Middle School library or the Mount Pleasant Public Library.

    Mr. Herreid was born July 21, 1950, in Luverne, Minn., the son of Lynn and Martha (Miller) Herreid.  He married Kathleen A. Kishel on June 19, 1976, in Virginia, Minn.
