Lorena Susan ?Lona? Henderson

Lorena Susan ?Lona? Henderson, 95, of Washington, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Friday, June 19, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating.  Burial will be at the Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville.  Visitation began at noon today at the funeral home where the family will be present from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Memorials have been established to Washington Public Library, Washington Community Y, or the United Church of Crawfordsville.

    Mrs. Henderson was born Nov. 13, 1913, in rural Washington, the daughter of Lawrence Burdell ?Bert? and Susan Evaline (Rice) Donaldson.  She married Robert Alexander Henderson on Feb. 12, 1938, in Ainsworth.
