Loretta N. Stubbs

      KALONA - Loretta N. Stubbs, 94, of Kalona, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City, with the Rev. Michael Lynch officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m., at Sharon Center (Grout) Church Cemetery in rural Riverside. Visitation is today, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona and Wednesday, from 10 until service time, at Church of the Nazarene. A memorial has been established for Church of the Nazarene.

      Mrs. Stubbs was born Dec. 28, 1910, in Sharon Center to Harrison and Nellie (Augustine) Frank. On Aug. 2, 1930, she married Harlan Stubbs in Reinbeck.
