Lorna M. Cornick

Lorna Mae Cornick, 85, of rural Morning Sun, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Winfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sue Cubbage officiating. Burial will follow at Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for Sunrise Terrace Care Center, the Arthritis Foundation and Amenity Hospice.

She was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Henry County, the daughter of Clifford and Florence Hunter Carlson. On Jan. 5, 1942, she married Dwight "Butch" Cornick.
