Louis Miles Nesbitt

Louis Miles Nesbitt, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Henry County Health Center.

Visitation began at noon today, June 24, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, at the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Robert David officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery with full military rites.

Born Oct. 15, 1923, in Mt. Pleasant, Miles was the son of Orval L. and Alma Fricke Nesbitt.

He married D'Anne Kohl on Sept. 7, 1947, in Cedar Rapids. She preceded him in death on Dec. 6, 1998.
