Lovern Kueneman

      KALONA-Lovern Kueneman, 91, of Lone Tree, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following an extended illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery in rural Riverside. Following the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Riverside VFW. Visitation will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Kueneman was born Sept. 29, 1915, in Selvin, Ind., to Jasper and Minnie (Lamar) Lauderdale. She married Verne Kueneman on Aug. 14, 1957, in Iowa City. He preceded her in death.
