Lowell R. 'Red' Spicer
Lowell R. "Red" Spicer, 81, of Mt. Pleasant died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City of an apparent heart blockage.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Military interment service will be at Grant Cemetery west of Rome. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the funeral home with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Congregational-Universalist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
