Lucille Bernice Hining

      FAIRFIELD - Lucille Bernice Hining, 87, formerly of Fairfield, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Monte Knudsen officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield. Family visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Faith Christian Outreach Church of Mount Pleasant or to Amenity Hospice of Cedar Rapids.

      Mrs. Hining was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Lick Creek Township, Van Buren County, the daughter of Charles M. and Merle H. (Johnson) Lewis. She married Glendon Lorain Hining on April 11, 1942, in Princeton, Mo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1987.
