Lucille C. Aronson

Lucille C. Aronson, 88, of Bettendorf died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Muscatine.

      A Celebration of Life service is set for 10 a.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in New Sweden Lutheran Cemetery in Lockridge.

      Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to New Sweden Lutheran Church or to the Scott County Humane Society. Online condolences may be sent via www.weertsfh.com.

      Mrs. Aronson was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Fred and Minnie Carlson O'Dean. She married Mahlon Aronson July 1, 1939, in New Sweden Lutheran Church. He died in 1988.
