Lucille DeYarman

Lucille DeYarman, 95, of Olds, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Olds United Church of Christ, with Carl and Elaine Vass and Randy DeYarman officiating. Burial will be at the North Wayne Township Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for the Olds United Church of Christ or the donor's choice.

Lucille was born Aug. 11, 1912 in Olds, the daughter of Michael and Lydia Musser Miller. On May 5, 1934, she married Curtis Blaine DeYarman in Olds.

A graduate of Olds High School, she attended Iowa Wesleyan College for three years. She was a lifelong member of the Olds United Church of Christ; a member of T.T.T.; PEO; and Al-Anon.

She is survived by five sons, Tom DeYarman and his wife Karin of Pueblo, Colo., Ron DeYarman and his wife Leit of Olds, Bob DeYarman and his wife Gerry of Toledo, Ohio, Jim DeYarman and his wife Shawna of San Diego, Calif., and Gary DeYarman and his wife Jane of Poway, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, brother Ralph, sisters Vernie and Nina, and a cousin preceded her in death.
