Lucille M. Kempf
KALONA-Lucille M. Kempf, 85, of Kalona, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Wellman Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Marvin Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or Wellman Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Kempf was born on Aug. 27, 1920, in Thurman, Colo., to Henry and Maggie (Ernst) Kuhns. She married Ervin H. Kempf on Aug. 27, 1939, in Wellman.
