Lucille Myrtle Wenger
Lucille Myrtle Wenger, 94, of Ainsworth, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, in Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction, as the result of a stroke.
Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at the Ainsworth Community Church with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Ainsworth Community Church, Ainsworth First Responders or Hospice of Washington County.
Mrs. Wenger was born May 6, 1915, near Manchester, Kan., the daughter of Earl A. and Mary (Isaac) Cramer. She married Elmer F. Wenger on Dec. 19, 1939, in Abilene, Kan.
