Lucille Watson December 1, 1915 - November 21, 2003

Lucille Watson, 87, formerly of Richland, died at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2003 at the Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Peggy Egbert officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Friends Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Pleasant Manor Care Center.

      Survivors include one daughter, Sheila and her husband Ron Chapman of Sioux City; five sons, James and his wife Eileen Watson of Mt. Pleasant, Gary and his wife Sharon Watson of Huntsville, Ark., Larry and his wife Shirley Watson of Keota, Kenneth and his wife Bonnie Watson of Bella Vista, Ark. and Bob and his wife Patsy Watson of Fort Madison.; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Milford Bond of Ashland, Ky.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, once great-grandchild, one sister, Marjoire Watson and one brother Lawrence Bond.
