Lucille Wilma Sojka

      RIVERSIDE - Lucille Wilma Sojka, 79, of Riverside died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a long illness.

      Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Sojka was born April 9, 1927 in Iowa Township near Riverside, the daughter of Ferdinand and Velma (Stransky) Simon. She married George Sojka on Sept. 7, 1948 in Riverside.
