Luella L. White, age 99, died December 6, 2020, at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, Iowa.

A private service with the immediate family only will

be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Keosauqua Christian Church or the Keosauqua Senior Center. Checks may

be mailed to David White, 1103 E. Briggs Ave., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Luella was born March 14, 1921, in Tallyrand, Iowa, to Mike and Rusha Tinnes. On April 12, 1941, she married Lawrence R. White in Sigourney, Iowa. They farmed south of Sigourney and moved to Keosauqua in 1960.

Survivors include two children: Betty (Keith) Gordon of Johnston, Iowa and David (Cindy) White of Fairfield, Iowa; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, Larry Plotz of Marion, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; her daughter, Barbara Plotz; her parents, Mike and Rusha Tinnes; sisters, Mary Van Arkel, Nora Knottnerous, Mildred Lee; and brother, Milo Tinnes.

Lawrence and Luella traveled the United States in their travel trailer spending winters in Arizona and Texas. She loved dancing, golfing, playing cards and enjoying an ice cream cone while riding through Lacey Keosauqua State Park. She thoroughly enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball and looked forward to watching every game.

She was a member of Keosauqua Christian Church, Elks Club of Fairfield, Red Hat Society, Keosauqua Hospital Auxiliary, River View Country Club, C.R.S. Card Club and the Town and Country Garden Club.
