MUSCATINE ? Lukas Jon ?Luke? Thompson, 4, of Coralville, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, in Muscatine.
Private family services will be held. Memorials may be directed to Montessori Children?s Garden, 20 Circle Drive, North Liberty, IA 52317. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Muscatine is handling arrangements.
Lukas was born July 18, 2011, in Iowa City, the son of Jon Daniel and Sara Elizabeth (Vance) Thompson.
He was attending Montessori Children?s Garden in North Liberty. He was known for being very spunky, full of life and love and never having a bad day because of his positive attitude, and he also liked to talk about God. He loved to be with his two older brothers, Nate and Ben, his friends from school, and his grandparents.
Surviving are his parents, Jon and Sara of Coralville; his two older brothers, Nathaniel ?Nate,? and Benjamin ?Ben?; maternal grandparents, Gary and Kathy Vance of Coralville; paternal grandparents, Bob and Jane Thompson of Muscatine, and Robert and Linda Foor of Muscatine; maternal great-grandparents, the Rev. Harold and Virginia Varce of Windsor Heights, and Helen Vance of Le Mars; and paternal great-grandmother, Barb Bothell of West Liberty.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Adeline Varce; maternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Vance; paternal great-grandfather, Floyd Bothell; and paternal great-grandparents, George and Marie Thompson.
