Lydia D. (Gingerich) Miller

      KALONA - Lydia D. (Gingerich) Miller, 90, of rural Johnson County, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 in her home.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, in the Sharon Bethel Church near Kalona with the Rev. Delmar Bontrager, the Rev. Jacob Yoder and the Rev. Gabriel Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the North Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the church, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice.

      Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 16, 1917 in Johnson County. She married Harley H. Miller on Oct. 15, 1940.
