Lydia Ferne Gingerich, 91, of Kalona
KALONA ? Lydia Ferne Gingerich, 91, of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lingering illness.
A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aril 23, at the Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Wellman with the Rev. Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the East Union Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa Mennonite School and Pleasantview Home.
