Lyle Dwight Hubbard was born July 27, 1940 in Wakefield, Nebraska, the son of Daryl Burton and Dorothy Elnora (Fransen) Hubbard. Lyle married Gloria Mathwig in July 1966 and they moved to Canby, Oregon. In 1992 they moved to Joetown, Iowa. Gloria passed away in 1995. In 1996 Lyle and Linda (Tukker) Olivier married and continued living in Joetown. Lyle retired from Stutsman, Inc. as their electrician. Lyle passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda and their family; Dwight (Amy) Hubbard of San Jose, CA, Dr. Monica Hubbard of Boise, ID, Marian (Nick) Rice of Salt Lake City, UT, Duane (Melissa Shelabarger) Hubbard of Des Moines, stepson Lowell (John) Olivier Shaw, stepdaughter Lana (Larry) Corso, 2 sisters and a brother; Daryl Hubbard.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the church. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home is caring for Lye and his family.
