Lyle Eugene Wasson
COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Lyle Eugene Wasson, 88, of Columbus Junction, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Colonial Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the Columbus Junction Public Library.
Mr. Wasson was born Feb. 11, 1916, in Johnson County, to John Erwin and Harriet (Atkins) Wasson. On April 20, 1939, he married Mary M. Schrier in Washington.
