Lyle Fox

RIVERSIDE - Lyle Fox, 79, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, from injuries suffered in a vehicle accident.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside with the Rev. Betsey Neipert officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Public Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Riverside. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Fox was born April 24, 1929, in Nichols, the son of Sherman Grant and Elsie (Jarrard) Fox. He married Jean Maxine Havel on July 31, 1948, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Riverside.
