Lyle V. Van Sickle

MOUNT PLEASANT ? Lyle V. Van Sickle, 80, of Mount Pleasant, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at his home.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, at the First Baptist Church, 100 E. Webster Street, Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Regan D. Stoops officiating.  Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Kimzey Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Memorials may be directed to the Henry County Health Center Dialysis Unit, Hospice of Central Iowa or First Baptist Church.

    Mr. Van Sickle was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Washington, the son of William Ernest and Irma Margaret (Tunsey) Van Sickle.  He married Phyllis Darlene Disney on March 23, 1952, at the First Methodist Church of Washington.
