Lynda Cora Stalkfleet, 80, of North English, formerly of Iowa City, IA, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her home. Private family services will be held this summer.

Lynda was born September 6, 1944, in Sitka, AK, the daughter of Ralph and Enda (Rose) Rogge. She grew up in Alaska and Iowa City most of her life. Lynda was united in marriage to David Stalkfleet on September 10, 1970, in Iowa City; he preceded her in death on March 23, 2007. She was a housekeeper from 1966 through 1991 at Mercy Hospital. Lynda was a member of Four-Square Gospel Church and most recently Christian Church in North English, IA. She enjoyed reading action mysteries and autobiographies and listening to music.

Lynda enjoyed drinking margaritas by bonfire, boating, traveling, and camping. She volunteered with meals on wheels and volunteered at church.

Lynda is survived by her daughter, Michelle Martinez (Gary Moreno) or North English, IA; three siblings: Greg Rogge (Judy Redeker) of Iowa City, Toni Pruitt of Bird Island, MN, and Nadja Pressly of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren: Boun Stalkfleet (Tim Watkins) of Los Angeles, CA, Francesca (John) Angulo of Webster, IA, Linda (Patrick) Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth Martinez (Robert Saiz) of Pampa, TX, Antonio Martinez (Cobrati Musch) of Pampa, TX; nieces and nephews: Heidi, Heather, Shane, Tasha, Rick, and Tim; and great-niece, Devon; and multiple great-grandchildren.
