Lynette Marie Adrian, 68, of Washington, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Washington County Hospital following a short illness.

Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Beatty Funeral Home with family present from 4-6:00 PM. A general memorial in the name of Lynette Marie Adrian has been established.

Lynette was born June 13, 1955, in Luverne, MN, the daughter of Alvin Henry and Dorlores Liane (Ruddy) Kasemodel. She graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1973 and was united in marriage to James Adrian on August 23, 1975, near Maquoketa, IA.

She was employed as an in-home daycare provider for many years and also worked as a Public Health Aid and at Northrup King. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and time with family and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband James of Washington, sons John (Elizabeth) Adrian of Grinnell, IA and Jason (Amanda) Adrian of Cedar Rapids, IA; brothers, Ron (Beth) Kasemodel of Maquoketa, IA and Ed (Diana) Kasemodel of Grand Mound, IA; sisters, Sue Nelson of Edgeley, ND and Le Ann Kasemodel of Lost Nation, IA; grandchildren, Ryan, Ashlyn, Tyler, Stanley and Lorna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lynn and brother-in-law Pete Nelson.
