M. Darlene Vacha

      CEDAR RAPIDS - M. Darlene Vacha, 78, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, in Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, following a long illness.

      A private family graveside service will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with Dave Burris officiating. A memorial fund has been established. Murdoch Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Vacha was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Washington County, the daughter of Floyd and Lenora (Hagist) Stover. She married Max Sheetz; Lester Woods, who preceded her in death; and Darwin Vacha, who preceded her in death.
