M. Eugene Dicks
COLUMBUS JUNCTION-M. Eugene Dicks, 83, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m., at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery, with full military rites accorded by the Allen Wright Hanft Post No. 100 American Legion. Visitation will be on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established.
Mr. Dicks was born on Aug. 24, 1920, in Keokuk County, to Melvin and Gladys M. (Chapman) Dicks. On Nov. 6, 1949, he married Elaine Linville in Sigourney.
