M. Frances Young

M. Frances Young, 82, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Fox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the VAMOS organization to help less fortunate children attend school in Mexico, or a charity of one's choosing.

Mrs. Young was born on April 18, 1922, in Washington, to Fred Dwight. and Lula May (Hays) Stewart. In 1940, she married Leonard Young in Burlington.
