M. Gerald Buffington
M. Gerald Buffington, 90, of rural Columbus Junction, died Sunday evening, March 12, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m., at Spring Run United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Columbus City Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, from noon to 7 p.m., with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for Spring Run United Methodist Church.
Mr. Buffington was born May 3, 1915, the son of O.C. and Lois Jennings Buffington, on the farm where he lived his entire life in rural Columbus Junction.
