M. Jeannette Tackenberg

M. Jeannette Tackenberg, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Father Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12 at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Andrea and her husband Dwayne Wright, and Dana and her husband Steve Blow, all of New London; a son, Eric and his wife Julie Tackenberg of Wapello; and eight grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a son, Mark.
