M. Louise Wehr

      M. Louise Wehr, 86, of Keota, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, Iowa, following a short illness.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.

      Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Memorials have been established for St. James School or the M.L. McCreedy Home.

      Mrs. Wehr was born Feb. 25, 1922, in East Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Matthew B. and Agnes M. Gelski Fritz. She married Harold J. Wehr June 3, 1947, at St. Joseph's Rectory in East Pleasant Plain. He died in 1967.
