Mabel E. Booth

      Mabel E. Booth, age 92, formerly of Fairfield, IA, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at New Hampton Care Center in New Hampton, IA. Following her wishes, her body has been cremated.

      Family visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 PM. Inurnment will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Mabel Erma Hicks was born in Wapello County, IA on October 29, 1916 to Stanley and Allie (Douglas) Hicks. She was the youngest of five children and was a 1934 graduate of Packwood High School. Mabel married John Carl Booth on January 30, 1935. He passed away March 2, 1998.
