Mabel M. Gerig
WAYLAND - Mabel M. Gerig, 97, of Goshen, Ind., formerly of Wayland, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2005, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Family visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Mennonite Mission Network. Beatty Funeral Home of Wayland is assisting with local arrangements.
Mrs. Gerig was born Nov. 19, 1907, in Wayland, to Chris and Mary (Miller) Wyse. She married Vernon S. Gerig, Sept. 14, 1932, in Wayland.
