Mable Miller

      KALONA -Mable Miller, 72, of Kalona, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a sudden illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Kalona United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, with the family present from noon to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.. Visitation will continue from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Rebecka service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to Kalona First Responders or the Kalona Lioness Club.

      Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Wellman, to Marion Lee and Beretha Ma (Swartzendruber) Yoder. On April 15, 1953, she married C. Ray Miller in Wellman.
