Mae Register
Mae Register, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa.
The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Plooster officiating. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Oakland Mills Ladies' Aid and Henry County Health Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Wellington of Mt. Pleasant, Jean Smoot of Dodge City, Kan., and Janet Mannen of Mansfield, Texas; a brother, Ed Simkin of Mt. Pleasant; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
