Mandy Ann Shetler was born November 24, 1943, in Kalona, Iowa, the daughter of Daniel and Lovina (Hochstetler) Shetler. Mandy was a member of the Kalona Community Amish Church. Mandy passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City at the age of 75 years.

Mandy is survived by 2 sisters: Martha Miller of Crofton, KY; Lovina Marie Bontrager of Hicksville, OH; 3 brothers: Jake Shetler of Arthur, IL; Daniel Shelter, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; Joe Shetler of Kalona; 4 step sisters: Lucinda Schwartz of Wellman; Emma Hochstetler of Kalona; Katie Eicher of Richmond; Lydia Schwartz of Kearney, AZ; 3 step brothers: Johnny Schwartz of Wellman; Sam Schwartz of South English; and Crist Schwartz of Richmond.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Sunday, March 24, 2019, at the Leslie Miller residence at 2851 560th St. SW in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the North Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM at the Leslie Miller residence. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is caring for Mandy and her family.
