Marcella Clara White

      HARPER - Marcella Clara White, 82, of Keota, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a brief illness.

      A funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, at Holy Trinity Parish St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday. A general memorial has been established.

      Mrs. White was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Clear Creek Township to Henry and Barbara (Hammes) Peiffer. She married Robert White in Clear Creek Township on April 20, 1948.
