Marcella Marie ?Marcy? Humphreys

Marcella Marie ?Marcy? Humphreys, 78, formerly of Iowa City, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington.  In lieu of a visitation, the family will receive friends following the services.  Burial will be at a later date in Eicher Cemetery.  The body has been donated for research, according to her wishes.  A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County.

    She was born in Washington County on March 1, 1931, the daughter of Homer and Marie Wenger.
