Marcella 'Soddy' Ensminger March 8, 1921 - February 4, 2004

Marcella "Soddy" Ensminger, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Jeffrey McPheron officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the funeral home, with family receiving friends one hour prior to the time of service. A memorial has been established.

      Survivors include a nephew she raised as a son, Rick Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Carl Anderson of Farmington, and Richard Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; and a sister, Marilyn Phillips of Colorado Springs, Colo.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters, one in infancy.
