Marcia Ann Dunbar, 79, of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Parkview Care Center.

Open visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2020, at Behner Funeral Home.

A private inurnment will be at Forest Home Cemetery at a later date.

Marca was born July 31, 1941, to Maurice and Irene (Blagg) Richard in Mt. Pleasant. She married Donald William "Bill" Dunbar on December 20, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant at the First United Methodist Church. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before he passed away August 23, 2018.

Marcia worked as a candy stripper and cleaned the T&C. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, sewing, which she gave away, cooking and baking. Marcia had a green thumb and grew beautiful flowers, house plants and a garden. From the produce in the garden she did canning.

Marcia will be missed by her children, MaryTeresa Ann Dunbar and Richard Dunbar; two grandchildren, William Ray Dunbar-Crawford and Timothy Stephen Dunbar-Crawford; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Irene; her husband, Bill; daughter, Debra Ann Dunbar; and brother, Gregg Richard.
