Marcus Wayne Yoder

      WELLMAN - Marcus Wayne Yoder, 64, of Wellman died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City from colon cancer.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 in the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell with the Rev. David Boshart and the Rev. Helen Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, where the family will be present on Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Yoder was born Dec. 10, 1941 near Wellman, the son of Lester and Carrie (Slaubaugh) Yoder. He married Pearl Hunsberger on Nov. 27, 1965 in Perkasie, Penn.
