Margaret Ann Van Houten, 86, of Bella Vista, Ark., died July 4, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at Community Church of Bella Vista at a later date. Committal will be in Fairview, Ill.

Van Houten was born on January 20, 1931 in Fairview, Illinois to Kermit and Hazel Harden.

Margaret lived in Bella Vista for 32 years. She was a member of Bella Vista Community Church, a home maker and avid card player.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gordon and Eldon Harden; and a sister, Norma Mae Harden.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 66 years, George Van Houten; sons, David (Charlene) Van Houten of Albuquerque, N.M., Alan Van Houten of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Patti Van Houten of Bella Vista, Ark.; brother, Kermit (Ann) Harden Jr. of Urbana, Ill.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three nieces and nephew
